New for 2011 - Patriot gets a new available 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission. Performance far surpasses the previous 2.0-litre engine thanks in part to a variable geometry turbocharger, five injection events per combustion, switchable piston cooling and switchable un-cooled exhaust bypass. The CRD powerhouse produces 120 kW of power and 320 N.m of torque. Also available are 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre petrol world engines.
